Doctrinal Declaration

Christ for the World, Inc., organized in 1948 by Dr. & Mrs. E. Daniels, holds to the following fundamentals of the faith:

• The Bible as the infallible, inspired Word of God.
• The ONE triune God - Father, Son, Holy Spirit, equal in essence, character and attributes.
• God as the creator, ruler of the universe by His direct power and Word as revealed in Genesis and elsewhere in the Bible.
• Jesus Christ as the Son of God, born of a virgin, begotten of the Holy Spirit - as much God as if He were not a man, and as much man as if He were not God.
• That Christ died for the atonement of our sins, by His vicarious sufferings on Calvary, redeeming us from our sins.
• That the one way of salvation is by the blood of Jesus Christ applied to our sins when we repent and exercise saving faith in Him.
• That all men must be born again by the Holy Spirit to enter into heaven.
• That salvation is a spiritual birth - we cannot be unborn spiritually. We are kept saved by the One who saved - preserved unto the Day of His coming.
• That all saved people should be baptized by immersion of the body in water, not to procure, but to proclaim salvation. That saved, baptized people should observe the Lord’s Supper in remembrance of Christ.
• That a New Testament Church is a body of baptized believers, covenanted together for the spreading of the Gospel and keeping the ordinances of the church.
• We believe in life after death - in a heaven of happiness for the saved and a hell of suffering for the unsaved.
• We believe in the pre-millennial Second Coming of Christ for His own in an hour known only to God the Father.
