Mission Statement
Reaching the world with the love of God is the main objective of Christ for the World, Inc. This is done through stateside and overseas festivals, sponsored by churches of many denominations. Founded in 1948 by the late Dr. & Mrs E. J. Daniels, the ministry has never wavered from this goal. Rev. John Bos, who was the Associate Director of the ministry for over thirty years, is the current Director.
CFTW is also involved in building churches, schools and orphanages in developing countries such as India, Kenya, the Philippines, Romania and the Ukraine.
Presently, 200 orphans are housed in the ministry’s orphanage in Calcutta (Barrackpore), India and 75 in its South India (Nagercoil) facility. Children may be “adopted” for $100 per child per year.
Where building projects are planned, the ministry requires, in most instances, that the locals provide the land and CFTW provides part or all of the funds for the actual structure(s).
Funds designated for building projects and the orphanages go 100% towards said projects, with NO expenses deducted for administrative costs, salaries, etc. As one of the Board Members recently stated: “CFTW gets more bang out of a buck than any ministry we know about”.
Christ for the World, Inc. is a 501 C 3 organization. All gifts to the ministry are tax deductible.
